1970 Marlette Trailer

I spent this summer cleaning up a 1970s trailer to serve as my summer abode.  Quite a bit of work, especially since racoons had taken up residence a few years ago.

In any case, here are some before and after shots of my new summer home….

Isn't she lovely?

    Wow
You have really taken on the world, but really you have taken on yourself, and that is the bravest thing anyone can do.
That is really why we are here, to learn about ourselves, and then to share with others.
So thanks for giving me both from you.
Wondering did you and your hubby start a online business?
I would like to do that to have freedom and travel more. Of course it takes about 5000.00 a month to get to that point.
Any time you want to write it would be kool, you always have a friend. Thanks Tony Oregon

would love to do the same as you but I have some major disabilities. I have bought a converted greyhound bus and intend on selling native american crafts that I make and other items to stay alive at flea mkts and craft shows, from dreamcatchers to leather crafts and other stuff

I am totally inspired. I have wanted to start a blog of my life and I never know where to begin. I have been trying to figure out the kind of person I am now for about two years. Your blogs are wonderful and they are a great way for me to live vicariously through you LOL. Someday I will be able to just drop it all and go, but first I need to get two more kids through high school and figure out how to save some damn money (insert hysterical crazy laughter here) only because it doesn’t seem like it can be done.

    Jennifer,

You are an amazing person! I’ve enjoyed your interviews ie (Rachel) and “visiting” your tiny home. You stand out because you’re always thinking of others and definitely have a way of putting them at ease.

There are more people on their personal edge than you may think. I am also interested in helping women have fresh starts, or yes, more than one. Whatever it takes!

Alas my husband doesn’t share my gypsy tendencies. If only part-time I AM getting my “vehicle” ready! Having the info will make getting on the road much easier instead of learning everything the hard way, like I usually do.

I’d love to hear from you!

Great blog… I have been perusing and daydreaming about what path to take. I retired a couple of years ago and moved to Santa Fe as a part time natural health practioner and pastel artist… I love to travel and have the time. Just got to figure out how and where… You have great info and experiences…. I’ll keep an eye and ear out for any info from you… You are a lovely inspiration…..
