Thank you all for the encouragement. I wasn’t sure if I was getting a bit *too* candid.

It is not exactly the kind of thing you can speak about with friends and family, so my ability to do so here means a lot.

Wade, Not having friends and family on your blog makes all the difference. It was sort of unintentional at first, but I am so glad it is the case.

I agree with you Angie and Wade! I do feel hooked and privileged (the only family member)to be a part of her journeys.
Perhaps she will agree to twice a day every other day to start? We are willing to compromise to achieve our goals correct?

Jennifer, I believe that you should write about what’s on your mind. Clearly, your journey to the Arctic Ocean involves more than just a physical journey. Jennifer, your candor is refreshing, and even though sometimes surprising, it is not over the top. A little dark humor helps put things in perspective sometimes. I felt guilt for years for laughing during some of the scenes in the movie “Fargo”.

Funny. I started my blog to be about our trip home from Idaho with the new coach, but it just didn’t turn out that way. We originally wanted it so people could keep up with our trip, but now I find myself just adding more stuff as I go along.

Of course, I only have my family and a few friends reading mine so I can’t really getting into the deeper stuff as much as I might like…

You keep writing. We’ll keep reading. There certainly is something cathartic about pouring your words out onto a page for others to ingest, devour and regurgitate with their own thoughts, ideas and interests. We are all different. If you posted one problem, you would get 10 different solutions from ten different people. Do you have to take other people’s advice? No, you don’t. Is it nice to have some input from people who have absolutely no vested interest in the resolution of the problem? Oh yeah.
